A DesignGrl Series : All About Scenario-Based Learning

A few years ago I participated in a workshop for those of us in the department who were involved with curriculum design and development. If you are like me and have been doing this kind of work for very long then you know this is not an unusual occurrence. In fact the reality is this kind of thing happens frequently and the so-called lessons to be learned from these workshops is generally long-forgotten in a very short period of time.  the fact that I am still intrigued by what I experienced at this particular workshop three years later speaks volumes of the subject matter.

What was this paradigm-shifting, memory-captivating workshop? It was all about how to build a form of scenario-based learning (SBL) known as Story-Centered Curriculum.

Over the next few weeks I am going to explore this concept of scenario-based learning. I hope you will join me and we can learn together.
